Your role:
As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll own accounts (under the AD), oversee numerous projects and play a leading role in ensuring the day to day work is delivered on time, on brief and on budget.
You will be the key point of contact for the Client and be responsible for building a positive relationship based on mutual respect.

You will be adept at multi-tasking – actively juggling multiple work-streams and stakeholders for successful delivery.

You will be a people person and have the ability to get the most out of those around you –whether they be in your own team, the creative, strategy or internal teams.

We’ll look to you to lead briefs of £50k+ and oversee the end-to-end delivery. Be present at the client briefing and work with the Strategy team to develop the creative brief. Take part in the briefing. Your role is to run the client meetings, manage the creative feedback, coordinate the internal team and ensure the work is delivered within budget.

Win the confidence of Clients by managing expectations solidly, implementing projects seamlessly and communicating messages of reassurance at every step.

An all-round understanding of the marketing industry will help you add value to your role. Fuel it by immersing yourself in trade titles, websites, client news, seminars and industry events.

Knowing the difference between tactical and strategic initiatives. Together with other team members, you’ll be investing time in the strategic growth of a piece of business. Develop the skills to understand client strategy and, where appropriate, translate that into brilliantly effective work.

You’re in the communications business so we expect excellent written and verbal abilities. And by developing strong presentation skills you can influence clients to buy more work.

Keep information flowing throughout the team and make sure all team members are up to date with all project information.

If you’re supported by an Account Executive, it’s also part of your responsibility to supervise and help them develop.

An awareness and interest in the development of the agency. So aim to become involved in projects outside your team responsibilities.

As well as work of the highest possible quality, Rufus aims to generate the best possible revenue and profits. You will manage client budgets and control external costs.
